Overview
A tutoring business that needed parents to understand its offer in seconds and enquire without a phone call.
The challenge
Parents were arriving with the same questions every time: which subjects, which year groups, online or in person, and how much. The website answered none of it quickly, so every enquiry started from zero.
The vision
A calm, credible site that reassures a parent within one screen — clear subjects, clear ages, clear next step — and lets the tutors spend their time teaching instead of re-explaining.
What we built
- A subject and key-stage structure that mirrors how parents actually search.
- Individual pages for each core subject rather than one crowded services page.
- An enquiry flow that captures the child's year group and subject up front.
Search strategy
- Pages organised around real search language — subject plus level plus location.
- Clean internal linking between subject pages and the enquiry page.
- Structured data describing the business and its services accurately.
Key features
- Enquiry form with subject and year-group fields
- Subject landing pages
- Session format explainer (online and in person)
- Simple, editable content structure
Design
Warm and academic without feeling institutional. Generous type, plenty of white space, and photography-led sections so it reads as friendly rather than corporate.
Mobile experience
Built for a parent checking at 9pm on a phone — short scroll to the key answers, tappable enquiry button always within reach.
Outcome
A site that explains the service properly before anyone picks up the phone, with a structure that can grow as new subjects are added.
We don't publish performance figures we can't verify. Where measurable results are confirmed with the client, we'll add them here.
