Vision & Venture is a web design and digital growth studio based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach us at hello@visionandventure.co.uk.

When you complete the enquiry form we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you add it, your existing website, what your business does, what you need, the package you're considering, your rough timeframe and anything else you tell us.

The form currently sends those details to us by email using your own email application, so the message travels through your email provider and ours. We use it only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to prepare and deliver the work.

We do not currently run any analytics or tracking product on this website, so no measurement data is collected about your visit. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future it will only run after you accept it in our cookie notice, and we'll name it in the cookie policy before it goes live. We do not use advertising trackers or remarketing technology.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (for example IP address, timestamp and page requested) for security and reliability. That is a normal part of running a website rather than marketing analytics.

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, deliver work you've asked for and keep the website secure and working. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and running the site securely, contract where we're delivering agreed work, and consent for any optional analytics.

We do not sell your data, and we don't add you to a marketing list without asking.

Only the service providers genuinely needed to run the business: our website hosting provider, our email provider, and accounting software for client billing. We do not share enquiry details with anyone else. If we introduce a new processor — for example a form or analytics service — we'll update this page.

Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to clients are kept for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, as UK tax rules require.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, withdraw consent for optional analytics, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll action it within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
