Do I need a blog for my small business?

Most small business blogs fail for the same reason: they were started with enthusiasm, filled with company news nobody searches for, and abandoned after four posts.

Write answers, not news

Nobody searches for your office move. They search for the question they have before they're ready to buy — what something costs, how long it takes, which option suits their situation. Every one of those is a page.

One good post beats ten thin ones

A thorough answer that genuinely helps someone will keep earning visits for years. Ten short posts written to hit a schedule will earn almost nothing between them.

It also does a second job

Useful articles give a hesitant enquirer a reason to trust you before they call, and they give you something specific to send when someone asks a question by email.

A realistic pace

One properly written article a month, on a question you get asked constantly, is a strategy. Anything faster than you can sustain isn't.

Let's build the venture.

Tell us what your business does and what you need the website to achieve. We'll come back to you personally with honest thoughts — and a clear proposal if it's a good fit.
